Malone disclosed the artists while performing as the headliner at the Wild Horses Festival in San Diego.

Post Malone’s passion for country music is undeniable.
While headlining at the Wild Horses Festival at Petco Park in San Diego, the “I Had Some Help” artist shared which two musicians topped his playlist in 2024.
Speaking to the crowd, Malone, 29, mentioned that he’s an Apple Music user and typically doesn’t focus on such things. This year, however, he decided to reveal that his most-played artists were “George Strait” and “Zach Top.”
Following this announcement, Malone brought Top, 27, onto the stage, and the two performed a rendition of Vince Gill’s “Don’t Let Our Love Start Slippin’ Away.”
Earlier in the evening, Top performed, alongside Paul Cauthen and Vincent Neil Emerson.
During his performance, Malone treated the audience to a mix of country tracks from his latest album F-1 Trillion, alongside some of his well-known hits like “Circles,” “I Fall Apart,” “Rockstar,” and “Sunflower.”
His headlining set followed his appearance at Beyoncé’s remarkable Christmas Day halftime show during the Texans-Ravens game at NRG Stadium in Houston, where they performed their collaboration “LEVII’S JEANS.”
The “Better Now” artist shared his gratitude for the experience in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Dec. 28.
“Thank you @Beyonce so much for having me in Houston, and for including me on your amazing record. Also, thanks for sharing your incredible talent and art with the world. I love you,” he wrote.
Since the release of F-1 Trillion, which features collaborations with country stars like Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Tim McGraw, Lainey Wilson, and others, Malone has been fully immersed in the country music scene.
In November, he revealed plans for The Big Ass Stadium Tour, set for summer 2025 across North America, with Jelly Roll, whom he teamed up with on “Losers.”
The highly anticipated tour will begin on April 29 in Salt Lake City, with stops in cities such as Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, New York, Miami, Orlando, Denver, Seattle, and more, concluding on July 1 in San Francisco.
Released in August, F-1 Trillion debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Just days before its release, Malone celebrated a significant milestone in his country music journey when he made his Grand Ole Opry debut.
Brad Paisley, who invited Malone to perform at the Opry, opened the performance by saying, “He has a country heart and he’s someone who’s fully embraced the Nashville way. But you aren’t a country singer until you’ve played this.”
