The incident occurred during a concert in Denver on May 29.

Morgan Wallen caused a stir onstage after flipping a piano during a live performance, following a technical issue in the middle of his concert.

The 33-year-old country star was performing as part of his Still the Problem tour, supporting his latest album I’m the Problem, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on Friday, May 29 when the incident took place.

Footage circulating on social media shows Wallen performing “Sand in My Boots” before encountering sound problems with the piano. In one clip, he appears to push the instrument over, seemingly damaging it, before stepping away from the stage prop. Another video captures him returning toward the piano as the crowd reacts with a mix of shock, cheers, and gasps.

According to Rolling Stone, the issue reportedly left Wallen unable to hear the piano properly, leading him to complete the song a cappella instead.

As of now, Wallen has not publicly addressed the incident. Representatives for the singer were contacted but had not responded as of Sunday, May 31.

The “Lies Lies Lies” artist launched his tour on April 10 in Minneapolis, with a schedule that includes major stops in cities such as Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, and Chicago. The stadium tour is set to conclude in Philadelphia on Aug. 1.

Across the run, Wallen has been joined by a rotating lineup of opening acts, including Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Ella Langley, Thomas Rhett, Gavin Adcock, Flatland Cavalry, Hudson Westbrook, Jason Scott & The High Heat, Zach John King, Vincent Mason, and Blake Whiten.
