“Space in My Heart” is set to be included on Enrique Iglesias’ forthcoming album, ‘FINAL Vol. 2’.

Miranda Lambert and Enrique Iglesias, an unexpected pairing, have united their talents in the realm of love songs.
On Friday, the 48-year-old Spanish singer debuted “Space in My Heart,” marking his inaugural foray into country music alongside Lambert, 40.
“Space in My Heart,” recorded in Nashville, is a heartfelt love ballad accompanied by acoustic guitar, emphasizing the importance of opening oneself up to love and making room within one’s heart for a significant other.
“You don’t love me yet, but I know you will/ If you only felt half of what I feel,” croon Iglesias and Lambert in unison during the chorus. “If you ever go, I will never change/ There’s a space in my heart and it’s just your shape.”
This marks Iglesias’ third single from his upcoming album Final Vol. 2.
Both the “Strange” singer and the “Hero” performer teased the single’s release earlier this month by sharing a snippet of the unreleased song and its artwork on Instagram. The artwork features a sultry black-and-white photo of the two stars, with Lambert looking downward and Iglesias staring directly at the camera.
Lambert also took to her Instagram Story to express her excitement about the song’s release. “Texas meets Spain! 🤠,” she captioned over the single artwork, referring to her Texas roots and Iglesias’s heritage from Madrid. “Can’t wait for y’all to hear this one,” she added.
The song marks Lambert’s first release of the year and comes after her collaboration “If You Were Mine” with Leon Bridges, which dropped in June 2023. This release follows Lambert’s departure from her longtime record label, Sony Music Nashville, after 19 years, which she announced in March of the same year.
The “Bailando” artist recently unveiled “Fría,” featuring Cuban singer Yotuel, which is slated to be included on his forthcoming album.
This album holds particular significance as it is set to be the Spanish superstar’s final full-length release. He previously introduced the first portion of the project, Final (Vol. 1), in 2021.
While confirming that this upcoming project will mark the conclusion of his album releases, he clarified to PEOPLE in a 2021 interview that it doesn’t equate to retirement. “It means that it’s the last album that I’m gonna make,” the “Hero” singer clarified. “That doesn’t mean I’m retiring — a lot of people have asked me, are you gonna retire?”
He further explained, “No, I’m never gonna retire! I’m gonna keep on writing songs, but that doesn’t mean I need to be putting out albums every so often.”
