The country singer announced her engagement to former NFL player Devlin “Duck” Hodges on Instagram in February 2025.
Lainey Wilson and Devlin “Duck” Hodges have officially tied the knot.
The country star, 33, and the former NFL player, 30, were married on Sunday, May 10 at The Ruskin in Dickson, Tennessee, according to Vogue. Wilson wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown decorated with delicate Japanese cherry blossom details along the neckline and throughout the dress.
Wilson said the couple discovered the venue by chance while driving through Tennessee backroads. After spotting a billboard for The Ruskin Cave, Hodges suggested it as a wedding location. “Duck said, ‘You wanna get married there?’ I said, ‘Done deal,’” she told Vogue. They later visited the site and immediately fell in love with its natural cave setting and simplicity.
The ceremony was held beside a cobblestone ledge at the base of a waterfall on the property. Guests arrived via horse-drawn carriage, and the couple was married by Wilson’s close friend and mentor, Wes Williams. She described it as her “absolute dream ceremony,” noting that the waterfall behind the altar sealed their decision to choose the location.
Hodges wore a custom suit by D. Lacquaniti, paired with personalized accessories including a bolo tie, cufflinks, a hat pin, custom boots from Golden West Boots, and a Charlie 1 Horse hat.
Following the ceremony, guests moved into the cave for the reception, where Wilson said her mother led a dinner prayer before the celebration continued with food, music, and dancing late into the night. The night ended with sparklers as the couple departed in a vintage white Ford truck.
The wedding follows their engagement announcement in February 2025, which Wilson shared on Instagram with romantic photos and the caption “4x4xU forever,” referencing her song of the same name.
Wilson previously opened up about Hodges’ proposal, describing it as carefully planned with candles, photos, and a sentimental cowboy hat–shaped ring box. She also praised Hodges as her “biggest supporter” and said she felt lucky to share her life with him.
