Kane Brown is opening up about the viral photo of himself with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix on Saturday, Nov. 22, where he performed as the headliner, the 32-year-old country star reflected on the September Instagram snapshot.
The image — which also included Brown’s wife, Katelyn, along with Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes — was taken at 1587 Prime, the Kansas City steakhouse co-owned by Kelce and Mahomes.
“We got some good traction. I mean… Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are pretty much the biggest couple in the world,” Brown said.
The group had gathered at the restaurant to celebrate Kelce and Swift’s engagement, as well as Patrick Mahomes’ 30th birthday. Brown also praised the dining experience.
“The food is amazing,” he shared. “They brought out so many dishes that I didn’t really get to order, but everything I tried was delicious. Definitely recommend going — and don’t forget to take a photo on the stairs where we all posed.”
Kane Brown also spoke about his performance at Saturday’s Formula 1 event.
“Having VAVO join me will be awesome,” he said ahead of taking the stage. “He did some remixes of my songs, so we’ll be performing together on a platform.”
He added a playful twist, mentioning, “Then I’ve got two special guests — Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Brown noted that performing at the Las Vegas Grand Prix is particularly meaningful for him, as one of his personal favorite tracks is featured during the event. “I play it all the time on my simulator,” he shared.
This performance comes during a milestone year for the singer. In January, he released his fourth studio album, The High Road, and spent much of 2025 promoting it. The Nashville-based father of three has also undergone a personal fitness transformation this year.
“Getting in shape completely shifted my mindset. I feel like I’m rebooting my youth,” he told PEOPLE. “It’s impacted everything — my appearance, my mental state. I want to give 100% to everything I do now. Even on stressful days, I can focus on the good things in life and appreciate being here.”
