During the concert, which aired on SiriusXM’s The Highway channel and will be available for streaming on the app, Jelly Roll stated, “I believe music can heal people.”

Jelly Roll showcased his versatility during an intimate concert at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York, on Saturday, August 17, for SiriusXM. The 39-year-old musician performed a mix of his own popular songs and covers from various genres, delighting both subscribers and VIP guests. The exclusive event began with an introduction by the co-hosts of the SmartLess podcast—Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes—who recorded a live episode with Howard Stern at the venue before Jelly Roll’s performance.
Will Arnett addressed the lively crowd, saying, “Thank you guys for coming out tonight. We’re thrilled to be part of this with SiriusXM. Tonight’s performer is truly incredible—he’s a husband, a father, a philanthropist, a Grammy-nominated artist, and a CMA award winner.”
Sean Hayes added, “He’s performed in front of sold-out crowds and set records at music festivals across the country. We’re thrilled to have him here tonight. He’s about to kick off his Beautifully Broken Tour and will be releasing a new album very soon.” Jason Bateman then welcomed the singer to the stage.
Jelly Roll took the stage dressed in a black T-shirt layered with a short-sleeved black and red ombré button-up shirt, black jeans, and a red hat worn backwards. He opened the concert with his hit single “Halfway to Heaven” from his latest album, Whitsitt Chapel. Howard Stern, also in attendance, was seen nodding along to the song from the VIP section. Jelly Roll then performed “Son of the Dirty South,” a track he originally recorded with Brantley Gilbert for the deluxe edition of the Soundtrack to Summer 2022 compilation album.
Jelly Roll continued his performance with “Wild Ones” and “Son of a Sinner,” the latter from his 2021 album Ballads of the Broken. He became emotional during his speeches between songs, telling the audience, “I make real music for real people with real problems… I believe music can heal people.”
While introducing his latest hit “I Am Not Okay,” the first single from his upcoming album, Jelly Roll remarked, “If one song describes what I do, this is it.”
Throughout the evening, he also performed “Liar” and “Need a Favor,” along with covers of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” Green Day’s “Good Riddance,” and Otis Redding’s “(Sittin’ on) the Dock of the Bay.”
The event was attended by various celebrities, including the SmartLess hosts, Howard Stern and his wife Beth, Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy, Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola, John McEnroe, Kelly Bensimon, and Rosanna Scotto.
After the show, attendees were invited to stay for a BBQ-style cookout featuring burgers, hot dogs, and vegetarian options. Jelly Roll mingled with guests and took photos with fans during this part of the evening.
