Gabby Barrett is giving fans an inside look at her life balancing family, marriage, and a busy music career. The country singer shared how she manages life at home with her husband, Cade Foehner, and their three children, revealing the strategies that help her navigate motherhood while staying active on the road.

Since marrying in 2019, Barrett and Foehner have grown both personally and professionally, often working closely together. Foehner serves as Barrett’s lead guitarist during live performances, while also maintaining space for his own creative pursuits.

The couple has extended this collaborative approach to family life on tour. All five members of their household travel together, allowing Barrett to maintain a balance between career obligations and home life.

“I look at my life as a whole—my music, my family, my beliefs—and I measure success by whether I’m staying true to what I’m called to do,” Barrett told Kaitlyn Bristowe on Off The Vine. “My kids come with me to every tour date. They’re on the bus in their bunks. I feel so blessed. Honestly, I’m living the dream.”

Even with this system in place, Barrett admits there are challenging moments. Yet, she prioritizes being present for her children above all else.

“I keep them first and foremost. I want them to be able to say, when they’re older, that I was there for them even with everything else going on. That’s incredibly important to me,” she explained. “But the cool part is, I get to do both—be a mother and continue my career—and it’s amazing.”

Barrett first rose to fame alongside Foehner on American Idol when she was just 18. Since then, their relationship has been under public scrutiny, but Barrett says she focuses on what matters most to them behind the cameras.

“I don’t let outside opinions about marriage affect us. I know who I am and who he is. What matters is our commitment to each other behind the scenes,” she shared. “That approach keeps us grounded and connected.”

Throughout her career—from high-pressure Idol performances to award shows and national tours—Barrett credits Foehner as her biggest supporter.

“In those early, nerve-wracking moments with songs like ‘I Hope’ and ‘The Good Ones,’ it was comforting to see him there. He’s been my rock through everything new and live,” she said.

Barrett also hinted that new music is on the way, including a future album. She has begun teasing the next chapter of her career with recent tracks like “Ain’t Supposed To Be” and “The Easy Part.”
