This Wednesday, the country music sensation will start the concluding run of her residency at Resorts World in Las Vegas.

All good things eventually reach their conclusion.
This Wednesday, Carrie Underwood will begin the final chapter of her Las Vegas residency at Resorts World, which first launched in December 2021. As the inaugural performer at Resorts World Theatre, Underwood described the experience as a “special honor.”
By the time she wraps up her final show on April 12, the former American Idol judge will have delivered her Reflection residency a total of 72 times.
“I’ve always enjoyed touring, but being able to perform in one location for an extended period has been incredibly fulfilling,” Underwood shared exclusively with PEOPLE. “I love that this show has drawn audiences from around the globe to Las Vegas.”
From its opening night, Reflection has embraced the spirit of Vegas with dazzling visuals — from sequins and pyrotechnics to mirrors, elaborate fashion, and impressive set designs that wouldn’t typically fit a touring production.
“We always strive to deliver high production value, but Reflection allowed us to elevate things even further,” said the eight-time Grammy winner, now 42. “We’ve incorporated remarkable set pieces that simply wouldn’t be feasible to transport on tour. Adding elements like aerialists and dancers — things we don’t usually include — has made this show even more exciting.”
In her Reflection show, Carrie Underwood delivers unforgettable moments, including setting a Jeep ablaze during Before He Cheats and soaring above the stage on a platform while being drenched during Something in the Water. “We had to go all out with the spectacle and drama — it’s Vegas, baby!” she remarked.
While those moments wow the crowd, Underwood’s personal favorite happens during All-American Girl, where she invites a bachelorette on stage to join her for a duet. The special moment, she explained, “reminds me of the early days in my career when I’d bring a young girl on stage each night to sing with me when this song first came out.”
Reflecting on memorable moments, Underwood shared that her most cherished experience was when her mom attended the show and joined her for the duet. “She absolutely brought the house down!” she recalled.
While Carrie Underwood embraced the glitz of Las Vegas on stage, she kept things relatively low-key off stage. She often rented a house in town and steered clear of the typical Vegas lifestyle — with one memorable exception.
During a holiday weekend, Underwood experienced what she described as her most “Vegas” moment when rapper Ludacris performed at a nearby nightclub.
“After my show, a big group of us — including much of my band and team — went out to watch him perform around 1 a.m.,” she recalled. “It ended up being a pretty late night, and we all had an incredible time!”
