The country icon, who has previously performed at his wife Gwen Stefani’s residency shows, will be taking the stage at Caesars Palace for a series of concerts in 2025.

Blake Shelton is set to bring his country flair to Las Vegas.
The 48-year-old superstar will embark on his inaugural Las Vegas residency, titled Blake Shelton: Live in Las Vegas, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in 2025. The performances are scheduled from February 5 to February 15, with tickets going on sale starting August 16 at 1 p.m. EST at blakeshelton.com.
Shelton shared with PEOPLE, “The idea of having an Ole Red in Las Vegas has been in the works for a while, and this residency has been a topic of discussion ever since.”
“If you’re going to have a presence in Las Vegas, it only makes sense to have a residency if you’re an artist,” Shelton explains. “I’ve been postponing it because I wanted to have Ole Red up and running before taking this step.”
He adds that he frequently surprises fans with spontaneous performances at his music bars and hints that he might make a surprise appearance at Ole Red during his residency.
In late 2021, Shelton performed his hit duet “Happy Anywhere” with his wife Gwen Stefani and attended her show “15 or 16” times during its run.
Shelton is drawing inspiration from his friend Garth Brooks, who has enjoyed a successful residency in Las Vegas.
“He performed songs that inspired his love for music. I don’t want to just copy what someone else has done, but I’m excited about the idea of offering something unique that you wouldn’t see on a typical tour,” Shelton says. “I need to figure out what that unique aspect will be and how it will differ from my regular tour performances.”
Despite stepping away from The Voice, Shelton remains busy. Earlier this year, he and Stefani released their latest duet, “Purple Irises,” which he describes as his favorite of their collaborations.
“It always felt like something special, almost like it came from a different era. Stefani has been working on a lot of songs, and I kept coming back to that one. When she suggested doing ‘Purple Irises’ as a duet, I was thrilled!”
“Being told that there was a song he wanted to do with me was completely unexpected,” he says about “Pour Me a Drink.” “But once I heard it, it felt like a perfect fit. It made total sense for us to work on this song together.”
Shelton and Post Malone had met before, but they reconnected at the Super Bowl earlier this year and exchanged phone numbers. “It was one of the most surprising and enjoyable projects I’ve ever been involved in,” Shelton adds. “I’ve performed it at a few of my shows, and I’ve really enjoyed it.”
