Beyoncé knows how to make her children feel special — especially on their birthday!

During her Cowboy Carter show in London on Thursday, June 12, the music icon paused her performance to lead the crowd in a birthday celebration for her twins, Rumi and Sir, who just turned 8.

“Everyone say happy birthday, Rumi,” said the 43-year-old superstar, prompting the audience to join in.

Standing nearby was big sister Blue Ivy, 13, who warmly held Rumi’s chin during the touching moment captured and shared across social media.

“Say happy birthday, Sir! Mommy loves you,” Beyoncé added, as cheers continued to fill the stadium.

Rumi, clearly moved, nestled into her mom’s side while Beyoncé wrapped her in a hug — all displayed for fans on the big screen.

Beyoncé shares her three children — Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir — with husband Jay-Z (Shawn Carter). The couple tied the knot in 2008 after years of dating, and welcomed Blue Ivy in 2012. Their twins were born in 2017.

Lately, Beyoncé’s daughters have been accompanying her on the Cowboy Carter tour — a trend that began with Blue Ivy’s surprise appearances during the Renaissance World Tour.

While Sir tends to avoid the spotlight, he made a rare appearance during the Los Angeles tour opener on April 28, when Beyoncé played home videos of her children during a nearly three-hour set featuring over 35 songs.

Rumi also had a musical moment of her own on the Cowboy Carter album, opening the track “Protector” with the line: “Mom, can I hear the lullaby please?”

Jay-Z once explained the meaning behind their names shortly after the twins were born. “Rumi is our favorite poet, so we named our daughter after them,” he said in 2017. “And Sir just came out like that — he carries himself like a Sir.”
