Judd celebrated her birthday on Wednesday night with a gathering of friends, including Ashley McBryde, Jelly Roll, Reba McEntire, and others.

Wynonna Judd celebrated her entrance into her 60s with flair. On Thursday, May 30, the renowned “Mama He’s Crazy” singer tapped into her youthful spirit and showcased her creativity on Instagram to commemorate her 60th birthday.

In the photo, Judd recreated a cherished childhood memory, sitting on a velvet chair, elegantly adorned, and playfully trying on a pair of red heels while holding a cigarette. She captioned the image: “SIXTY. 👠💄✨”

On Wednesday night, country singer Ashley McBryde shared heartwarming snapshots from Wynonna Judd’s birthday festivities.

“A night out to celebrate the birthdays of our guiding light @wynonnajudd and our dear friend @shanetarleton. It’s hard to get me to go out. But for friends like these, I’d walk face first into a hurricane to tell them I love them,” McBryde captioned the Instagram post, which featured a cheerful photo with Jelly Roll, Reba McEntire, Terri Clark, and Judd.

Judd expressed her affection in the comments, writing: “I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, shared a touching video from the gathering, capturing a heartfelt moment between her and Judd as they embraced and engaged in conversation, with Reba McEntire observing in the background.

“I adore these icons 😭,” Bunnie captioned the post.

Earlier this month, Judd spoke to PEOPLE about the two-year anniversary of her mother Naomi Judd’s passing—and how it coincided with her performance of the national anthem at the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby.

“I feel her, and I miss her terribly,” Judd expressed about her legendary mother and the poignant timing of the May 4 performance. “It’s the ‘best and the worst of times’ kind of thing, where you’re keenly aware of where you were and what was going on, on that day.”

Reflecting further, she shared, “I think about everything differently now, now that Mom is gone.”

In addition, Judd revealed in the interview that she’s currently working on writing and recording a new album.

“I’m working on a really personal message to the fans,” Judd revealed. “I’ve been doing this for over 40 years, and I’m at a point in my life where I’m just so aware of how quickly it’s all going by, and I don’t know how much more time I have left.”

Additionally, Judd is set to be featured on the upcoming Tom Petty tribute album, “Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration of Tom Petty,” where she collaborates with Lainey Wilson. The two artists, who have developed a friendship, join forces on the 1980 Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers classic “Refugee.”

“I cooked for her the other night,” Judd shared about her time with the “Heart Like a Truck” singer. “We sat and talked about things, and she said some of the things that she’s going through, and I remember the same. Yeah, I’ve walked this similar path. I’ve learned to not let people judge. Just to do your own thing and blaze your own trail. That’s what I’m trying to do for these other women that are coming up in the music.”
