The “Texas Tea” artist was also hospitalized in 2022 after a stage fall during his Twelve Carat Tour.

Post Malone Takes a Tumble Onstage While Toasting Fan—But Keeps the Show Going

Post Malone’s devotion to his fans is undeniable—even if it occasionally lands him on the floor.

During his Big Ass Stadium Tour stop at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on June 22, the 29-year-old singer was performing “Somebody Pour Me a Drink,” his collaboration with Blake Shelton, when he approached a fan near the front of the stage. In a TikTok video shared by the fan, Malone made his way down the catwalk and leaned in to toast with them—only for part of the stage to suddenly give way, causing him to fall forward.

The fan who recorded the moment posted the clip with a heartfelt caption: “I am SO sorry Austin. I love you! Such an amazing show ❤️,” tagging the artist.

Despite the unexpected spill, the concert went on, and fans filled the video’s comments with concern and well-wishes, hoping he wasn’t hurt.

This wasn’t Malone’s first onstage accident. Back in September 2022, during his Twelve Carat Tour in St. Louis, the “Sunflower” singer fell through a trapdoor and appeared to hit his chest hard. Although clearly in pain, he managed to finish the show.

His manager later confirmed via Instagram that the fall had left him with bruised ribs. Malone himself reassured fans in a video shared on X, explaining, “Everything’s good. They gave me some pain meds and everything, so we can keep kicking ass on the tour.” He also promised to return to St. Louis for a makeup performance to play the songs he missed that night. “Thank you guys for your support and your love—and for sticking around even though I got my ass kicked by myself,” he joked.

A few days after the St. Louis incident, Malone postponed a Boston concert, revealing that he had woken up in significant pain, describing it as “a stabbing sensation” whenever he moved or breathed.

Then in October of that same year, during a show in Atlanta, he twisted his ankle after stepping into another hole onstage—this time one used for pyrotechnics. In a fan-captured clip, he acknowledged the moment, saying: “There are these little holes in the stage where fire shoots out—pretty badass—but I just rolled my ankle in one. So if my dance moves are a little off tonight, forgive me. I’m gonna give it my best.”

Post Malone is currently nearing the end of his stadium tour alongside Jelly Roll. The pair, who collaborated on “Losers” for Malone’s F-1 Trillion album, kicked off their joint tour in April in Salt Lake City. Since then, they’ve performed in cities including Philadelphia, Las Vegas, New York, Dallas, Toronto, and Atlanta.
