Luke Bryan returned to RODEOHOUSTON this weekend and received a special honor as he was inducted into the Star Trail of Fame by The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo ahead of his performance.
On Sunday, March 23, Luke Bryan was inducted as the 11th member of the prestigious Star Trail of Fame, a recognition that highlights his notable impact on RODEOHOUSTON. This milestone preceded his 12th performance at the event since 2012.
During the induction ceremony, Bryan was honored by Pat Mann Phillips, Chairman of the Board, and Chris Boleman, President and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
“Luke Bryan has consistently been one of the most sought-after performers at RODEOHOUSTON, and his impact on our organization and audience is undeniable,” Boleman remarked. “He embodies the values of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and we are thrilled to welcome him into the Star Trail of Fame.”
As the 11th artist to earn a gold plaque commemorating his significant contributions to RODEOHOUSTON, Bryan joins an elite group of entertainers such as Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Charley Pride, Elvis Presley, Gene Autry, George Strait, Reba, Roy Rogers, and Selena.
“It’s been such an honor to perform at RODEOHOUSTON over the years,” said Bryan, a five-time Entertainer of the Year. “The Rodeo’s dedication to Texas students and the community is something I’m incredibly proud to have supported.”
Bryan’s RODEOHOUSTON appearance coincides with his eighth season as a judge on American Idol and precedes the launch of his highly anticipated Country Song Came On Tour. The tour will kick off on May 29 and continue through August 30.
Several special guests, including George Birge, Avery Anna, Ashland Craft, Mae Estes, Cole Goodwin, Braxton Keith, Randall King, Vincent Mason, Drake Milligan, Adrien Nunez, and Owen Riegling, will join Bryan on select tour dates. DJ Rock is set to appear at every stop along the tour.
The tour draws its name from Bryan’s current rising hit, “Country Song Came On.”
