The singer, currently on her Kelsea Ballerini Live Tour, had to pause her performance at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY, on February 6.

Kelsea Ballerini has postponed three concert dates due to illness.

On Thursday, Feb. 6, the 31-year-old singer, who is currently on her Kelsea Ballerini Live Tour, shared via Instagram Stories that she had to cut her Buffalo show short due to health concerns.

“Buffalo, I am so incredibly sorry that I couldn’t finish the show tonight,” she said about her performance at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY. “I’m feeling worse than I was hoping to, and the last thing I wanted was to disappoint anyone.”

She went on to explain, “I managed to get through the first few songs, but I just couldn’t continue. I’m so sorry—I never want to give you anything less than my best.”

Ballerini then announced, “We are rescheduling tonight’s Buffalo show, as well as Pittsburgh and Toronto, for the end of the tour on April 11th, 12th, and 13th. I promise to make these the best performances of my life.”

“I will pull out all the stops for you and make it absolutely worth it,” she promised. “For now, I’m going to rest and focus on getting better so I can give my all for the rest of the tour.”

Ballerini added, “I hope you understand. Thank you for allowing me to be human—I love you.”

She later posted a photo of herself in bed, hugging a pillow made by a fan.

Alongside the image, she wrote, “To the sweet fan who made this pillow tonight, I can’t even express how much I needed this and what it means to me. Thank you. I love and appreciate you all—see you in a few days.”

According to Taste of Country, Ballerini needed support from fans to get through her performance in Detroit on Tuesday, Feb. 4, as she wasn’t feeling well.

A TikTok video captured the moment when fans took over singing her song Penthouse after she was unable to continue.

Expressing her gratitude after the show, she wrote on her Instagram Stories, as reported by Taste of Country, “Thank you for helping me through our show last night and for being so loud and kind.”

Earlier on Thursday, Ballerini shared her excitement about performing in Buffalo, happily updating fans that she was “feeling better.”

“For all the sweet souls checking in, I’m doing better,” she wrote over a photo of herself onstage. “Got some much-needed rest (WOW, I FORGOT HOW MUCH I LOVE SLEEP), the meds are working, and I can’t wait to perform for you tonight.”

She continued, “My voice is still a bit raspy, but we’re embracing it (channeling the Phoebe sultry voice), and I’ll see you out there. No way I’m letting you down.”
