“Jessie James Decker to Perform at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with a Special Guest: Her Unborn Child”
Jessie James Decker is set to grace the stage during this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, and she’s bringing a special guest—her fourth child, due in March. Despite not being physically present yet, Decker finds significance in sharing the experience with her unborn baby.
She explains, “I still consider one of my last videos I did where I was dancing … Forest was in my belly, and it was like our first music video together. So, I’m excited to, you know, have this experience, and this baby will be able to watch back and be like you were in Mommy’s tummy during this, you know, you were with us.”
The country singer plans to make the trip a family affair, with her husband Eric and their children joining her for the week in New York. They aim to turn it into a memorable family experience.
Decker has already chosen a restaurant for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, which she humorously refers to as “linner” (lunch and dinner) after the parade.
During the broadcast, Decker will perform “Tangled and Tinsel,” one of her holiday favorites. However, she acknowledges the challenges of singing while pregnant, citing breath control as a concern due to the low positioning of her babies. Despite this, she plans to take extra care to ensure a memorable performance.
While Decker knows which float she’ll be on, she’s not allowed to disclose the information yet.
Fans can catch Jessie James Decker’s performance during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast on Thursday, Nov. 23, at 9 AM ET on NBC.
