On July 19, Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Anthony Ramos joined Luke Combs on stage to celebrate the release of Twisters. They all took part in a fun moment, chugging beer together during the country star’s show.

On Friday, July 19, Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Anthony Ramos celebrated the release of their summer blockbuster by joining Combs on stage at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Together with influencer Dana Beers, who had been campaigning to shotgun a beer with Combs for 68 days on social media, the trio joined the country star in chugging beer mid-show. The fun moment was captured in concert footage shared by X (formerly Twitter) user @BigKidDinner.
After sharing greetings and hugs, and a quick count-off from Combs, the group dove into chugging their beers as the crowd erupted in cheers.
Combs, Powell, and Beers quickly finished their drinks and tossed the nearly empty cans into the audience, while Ramos held onto his can and Edgar-Jones passed hers to Powell to finish.
The Anyone But You star, 35, shared a video of the memorable moment on his Instagram Stories, tagging Ramos, 32, and Edgar-Jones, 26, and adding a mix of beer and tornado emojis to the post.
Edgar-Jones also shared a clip of the beer-chugging moment on her social media, captioning it, “So this happened 🤯.”
The crossover was a perfect match, as Combs contributed to Twisters‘ country-heavy soundtrack with his track “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” a nod to the film’s setting in Oklahoma’s Tornado Alley.
Combs and his team had previously watched the film on the jumbotron at MetLife Stadium, which he mentioned on Instagram on July 19. He wrote, “Wow. What a night and what a flick.”
Twisters, an indirect sequel to the 1996 film Twister, features Daisy Edgar-Jones as Kate Carter, a former storm chaser troubled by a traumatic tornado experience. Glen Powell plays Tyler Owens, a “Tornado Wrangler” who chases storms for thrills and an online following.
Anthony Ramos portrays Javi, Carter’s long-time friend who encourages her to return to storm-chasing. This allows Carter to rekindle her childhood dream of using science to control tornadoes.
