Fans quickly noticed how the country singer expertly handled the wardrobe mishap, keeping the performance going in front of a packed stadium.
Ella Langley didn’t let an unexpected wardrobe mishap stop her from delivering a memorable performance.
The 27-year-old country singer took the stage as the opening act for Morgan Wallen’s Still the Problem concerts in Baltimore over the weekend, where she encountered an embarrassing clothing malfunction in front of thousands of fans.
Videos shared online showed Langley swapping her outfit mid-performance for an oversized Baltimore Ravens jersey featuring her last name while performing at M&T Bank Stadium. Although many fans thought it was simply a fun costume change, the singer later explained that the jersey became necessary after the zipper on her pink dress broke.
In an Instagram Stories post later reshared by Taste of Country, Langley revealed what happened behind the scenes.
“Yesterday my entire dress came unzipped on song #2 in a 60-minute set in the pouring rain in a stadium full of people,” she wrote.
Despite the unexpected setback, Langley continued her set without missing a beat. She later joined Wallen onstage to perform their duet, “I Can’t Love You Anymore.”
While the performance came with an unplanned fashion emergency, Langley has built a reputation for her distinctive style. Earlier this year, she became an ambassador for American Eagle, reflecting the bohemian-inspired Western fashion she’s known for wearing both onstage and at public events.
Speaking with PEOPLE about the partnership, the Alabama native shared that both her music and her wardrobe choices carry personal meaning. She described her signature style as a blend of confidence, femininity, and strength, explaining that every outfit she wears has a story behind it.
