Ella Langley Delivers Memorable CMA Fest Performances with “Be Her” and “Choosin’ Texas”
Ella Langley highlighted her rising success during the CMA Fest presented by SoFi broadcast, bringing two of her biggest tracks, “Be Her” and “Choosin’ Texas,” to the stage during the three-hour television special.
The country singer appeared in a white mini dress featuring a subtle floral design, creating a look that matched her blend of classic and contemporary country style. The outfit’s flowing sleeves added a dramatic touch to her performance, while white boots completed the ensemble.
During her appearance, the Alabama-born artist performed two major songs from her career. She started with “Be Her,” which became her fifth song to reach No. 1 on the charts.
Moving across the stage, Langley delivered the emotional track, which tells the story of comparing herself to another woman and wishing she could become the seemingly perfect version of herself. The song captures feelings of self-doubt and the desire to have the confidence and life that someone else appears to possess.
She followed with “Choosin’ Texas,” another career milestone that Langley co-wrote and co-produced with Miranda Lambert, along with producer Ben West and co-writers Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor. As soon as the song began, the crowd responded with excitement, turning the performance into a large audience sing-along.
Performed inside Nissan Stadium, the No. 1 hit showcased Langley’s confidence and Southern charm as she delivered a heartfelt story about heartbreak. The song reflects the perspective of someone realizing that the person she loves belongs to another place — and possibly someone else — with his heart tied to Texas.
Both performances were recorded during the first night of CMA Fest 2026 at the home of the Tennessee Titans and were included among the many standout moments featured in the televised special. Hosted by Riley Green and Lara Spencer, CMA Fest presented by SoFi aired Thursday, June 25, on ABC and became available for streaming the following day on Hulu.
The broadcast also featured performances from numerous country and music stars, including Bailey Zimmerman, Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Florida Georgia Line, HARDY, Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Zach Top and many more.
