“I hope everyone is ready to cry,” Moroney warned fans before dropping her newest tear-jerker.

Megan Moroney has done it again with her latest tear-jerking heartbreak ballad. Out today, “28th of June” is a vulnerable offering that commemorates what would have been an anniversary between her and past love.

The tune speaks to a painful revelation that hits close to home for anyone who has felt the tinge of heartbreak resurge in moments when the past is stirred up. The Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records singer/songwriter co-wrote “28th of June” with Ben Williams, Mackenzie Carpenter, and Micah Carpenter, allowing the listener to see her inside an incredibly vulnerable space.

“28th of June comes out tonight i hope everyone is ready to cry,” she wrote to her fans on X just hours before the song officially dropped.
